Which will give an overall better sound.
I am looking at sub/sats like the B&W MT30 or KEF eggs vs. on walls like the B&W FPM's or the Paradigm Cinema 330's.
Your help, experiences will be appreciated.
It is for a family room where it will be predominantly for watching movies.

George.

When I was looking for on-wall speaker info online it was pretty tough. People came up with a couple of recommendations, but very few had heard them in rooms. I listened to what I could in stores, but again, there was not much selection and each store seemed to have one or two brands often in different rooms, making it tough to A/B.

The HSU Ventriloquist satellite system is one that I have seen recommended a number of times, and it is relatively inexpensive. Triad speakers were often recommended for on-walls, but I have not listened to them at all. There was a vienna acoustics speaker that I thought sounded pretty good, but I am not going to remember the model number off the top. I wound up with Gallo Reference AVs, but that is in a different price point than the speakers that you mentioned.

Good luck,

Thanks for the help. It seems not many have actually listened to the two systems.

10ga wire.

As for the topic at hand, I would rather have a sub/sat system vs. on wall.
Placement is everything.

You are so correct. I've been captivated by the Ventriloquist system and I don't know why. I have a need for something like it, so I'm going to go ahead and order a set right now.
