I was reading all the old posts about color temp and most people were saying that their displays have settings such as cool or hot. My Olevia has two settings: Native and 6500K. I know everyone is going to say set it to 6500K but I think it looks like crap. The Native (who knows what that actually means) looks exponentially better. I had it on 6500K for a few weeks and I guess I adjusted to it because I didn't think it looked bad, but then when I turned it back to 6500K it looked awful. I thought I read a post somewhere about the type of lighting in the room making a difference as to what would be the best setting for the display. I have regular 100Watt incandescent lighting with a decent amount of sunlight during the day. Any suggestions?

If you like it at Native then leave it there - after all it's you that's watching it and you that likes it -- so ummm -- OK do it :D
