Great deal if you're looking for a 37" LCD with a built in HD "over the air" tuner, NTSC tuner, built in speakers, and HDMI input. Very good online reviews. It's at the bottom of the ad, $1199 plus $100 off if you open a Visa. I went and looked at one yesterday - it's a pretty large unit, so make sure you have the room. It's 45.5" wide! The sale goes through 11/20/05. I'm picking up one for the folks this week.

I asked about their Winbook 32" for $799, and the sales rep said they've had a bunch come back with dead pixels. He said very few Syntas models ever come back with dead pixels.

Now down to $999 - Black Friday Sale

Just got the ad for Black Friday. This set is going on sale for $999 at Microcenter - if you're lucky enough to have one nearby. Not bad for a 37" LCD with a built in HD tuner/ATSC tuner.

Here's some words from RLA on his visit to the EHX show about the Olevia's.

"Olevia displayed their new LT42 Hvi with integrated ATSC tuner this new 42-inch flat panel HDTV flat panel just won the Audio/Video award for best multi-room video display. The new LT42Hvi claims 1200:1 contrast ratio and has a suggested retail price of $3299. Upon viewing this set I could say that the image was truly awesome and worthy of the award.

Olevia also displayed their new LT37HVS with integrated ATSC tuner. This new 37-inch flat panel LCD display was equally impressive and at a retail price of just $1899 will surely find its way into many custom home theaters."
