Older TV and (un/poorly) sheilded speakers

So, with a recent passing in the family, I inherited a Sony Trinitron (KV-2786R, very dear to me) to replace a more modern but plastic junk TV (despite not having a working tuner, as I don't need it). I also have a pair of Cerwin Vega D-3's and a pair of Infinity SM-152's. In all this, I decided to rearrange, and the largest wall has now been reserved for the TV and speakers, which I would like to set to the sides of the TV, in a cone shape (which is optimal in the layout I have, I'm working with limited space).

The issue stands as it does with most CRTs and speakers, the magnets draw the color. In this case, putting an SM-152 to the right side produces at obnoxious green blotch in the corner at most any angle (of varying size, save for the faces being parallel). However, the Cerwin Vega's do not, therefore I attempted to use them as a buffer... to no avail. Even a foot plus away the green blotch persists...

I read in one post that by using the TV constantly, which may or may not happen, the blotch will be overcome, but there a huge part of me that finds this silly... I would love to be told otherwise.
Aside from that, is there a simple way of 'shielding' the speakers?

Thank you!
