Hi I have a Denon avr 95, Jus bought it can't find any manuals on it anybody know where to aquire this manual I relatively new to home theater which right now is primarily used for.music .I would lobe to find the manual put my searches for two days have turned up nothing pls any recomendations ...Thx , I have a polk audio 4ohm unpowered sub basically a "car sub" but I would love to use it in the house its a great speaker, but how can it work I have read so many conflicting arguments for
8ohm receivers and 4 ohm subs , I can't run series since I only have one, any way to make it work without the 4 ohm resistance frying my reciever, it will be played at mostly low volumes THX :)

Have you tried contacting Denon for the manual?

As for the subwoofer, typically, home theater receivers are designed to give only a preamp level output for a subwoofer, as most home subwoofers have an amplifier built in. In the case of one that does not have an amplifier built in, you would need a separate amplifier to drive it. Consequently, the comparability (or lack thereof) of the receiver with 4 ohm speakers is irrelevant for the subwoofer, as that will be driven by a separate amplifier. The receiver drives the other speakers, not the subwoofer.

I have this model Denon AVR-95. If there is a couple pages you need I suppose I
could scan whatever you need to read up on.
