Old tech to new tech, what’s the best way?

Good morning everyone. I’m an old Yamaha fan. The current receiver I have is the RX-V2200. Obviously, no real 3D sound, by no means. After sitting down at a Local audio Store in Daytona Beach, I’m more confused now than ever, but cant wait to get a new AVR system.
The big question here is what manufacture do I go with. Budget is important, but there are some great used prices on EBay.
My current system includes:
Yamaha RX-V2200
Sony Play station which I use for gaming and DVD playback
Channel Master for OTA TV( only used when internet goes out)
Sony 4K Bravia TV which I stream music and all my Video playback currently via Optical cable to the reciever.(Netflix, Kodi, YouTube TV)
All Klipsch speakers, 5.1 configuration. I want to add 2 more for more surround.

My wish list includes sound correction and Atmos at minimum
Ive been researching Denton X4700H & X6700H and Anthem MRX 720 or MRX 740 and to through a monkey wrench in, separates, AVM 60 with a 5 channel amp which I can get used on EBay for about the same amount.
What is everyone’s thought here?

Most mainstream avrs have a REQ program and Atmos. Denon 4700 is my general first choice among those you list for feature set/price (and the 6700 just seems more than you need), and the newest (Xx800 models) will have both the built in Audyssey as well as an option to use Dirac in the future for req programs. As far as REQ programs some are more tweakable than others, but the top line versions of each are generally quite good. Mostly it boils down to the number of amp/processing channels you want, the amp section closest to your needs (or a full set of pre-outs to have external amp flexibility or even powered speakers), and the general feature set you want.
