Old school Pioneer reciever, worth keeping?

I happen to find a Pioneer VXS-D1S in my storage building, had to been sitting up for ten years at least. Well, I figure'd I'd play with it and see if it worked, plugged it all up and it worked like it did when it was new. Put it on some JBL L100s (They were in storage too)

My question is, is this receiver worth anything? I was going to throw it on ebay but have no idea what it's worth. I googled and apparently it is/was pretty good. Thanks in advance guys!

Well, you could always try Ebay, but it’s a hit-or-miss proposition. Unless you’re really in need of the cash, you could keep it & the speakers for future use, maybe in the space where you found it? Or, if you have kids, they may want it for music playback.
I have found myself in several situations where I’ve though “man, I wish I had kept that old _____. It would come in real handy right now”.

I have an older HK receiver & AR speakers in my basement waiting for us to finish the basement & use it as a secondary HT setup.

Ah, that's interested, when I hooked up the L100s, I about blew the subs out of the boxes, probably being negligible but I'm sure they were on their last legs. Thanks!

I do, but I already have a nice speaker set up out there also, well not nice, but it does it's job.
