old receiver specs?

Anyone know any good sites for looking up old receiever specs. It's really just a curiousity thing but a couple buddies of mine have older receivers that are curious what they really have on their hands.... I've tried Google but except for a couple obscure references to units that had been on auction I really haven't found much...

Depending on just how old of a receiver you are talking about, the manufacturers site often has the manuals for older models. I know the Onkyo site still has the manual for the TX-SV525 that I bought new in 1996 as well as some models prior to that.

That was my first thought, but apparently both models are older than what they have posted anymore. It's not a big deal, just always hate to have curiousity unfulfilled....
