These kids today like to take credit for all the shorthand used in texts... ADNKR, KHLTKW, MCIYHDM, etc. But my fishing buddy and I have been using our own shorthand for some time.
"#1" means, "Wanna go fishing tomorrow?".
"#2" means, "Sorry to hear about your back/knee/shoulder/hip/etc. My back/knee/shoulder/hip/etc has been giving me trouble the last few days too. It looks like the weather might be good next week. Let's keep an eye on it and checkpoint then.".
