Old kenwood a/b bridge

I have a 1980s kenwood. Amp,tuner,eq,tape,phone separates. The amp has a and b speaker outputs. Says it's a 150 watts. If I was to bridge +a to -b of each left and right. Would that make more power to each speaker. Just using two speakers

Doubt it's designed to do that, what model number is it? Usually better to simply get a more powerful amp if you need one....

Unless it was designed to be bridged, do not do this!
Almost always the terminals on the back are marked for how to bridge the amp if it is designed to be bridged!
Obviously, you can check the manual (usually can find them online if not in your possession!

That is not bridging. A + B is just a speaker switch. The A and B outputs are connected to the same amps. There are only two amps and not four.

Actually, for every stereo amp I know of from the 80's, using the A and B speaker terminals for two pairs of speakers and running both pairs at the same time is the same as jamming two sets of leads into one set of terminals - the positive terminals come off of the same single lead and the negative terminals come off of the same single lead. So it would make no difference at all.
