Ever since I was a dirt poor 20 year old, many hours were spent at The Hi-Fi shop in Ogden UT. My poor little snot nose pressed against the glass looking at those beautiful white Aquaplas comes on the L-112 and every other L series. My first buy was L-20t.
Forward 40 years later, I see a mint pair of L-46 for sale on KSL.com. I picked them up, and wow do they ever sound good. JBL had a way of voicing their speakers. It’s unique to them.
I had a bit of fun replacing the caps on the crossovers, and it ever improve the sound. They are my main two channel room right now I made set of matching black walnut stands for them. I got them for a few hundred. Every home should have some.
