OK, what's a grey chicklet in the comments section mean?

Since I got a notification of "reputation comment made", I must assume it's a negative rep attempt from a newbie that had absolutely no numeric effect.

It was for my post 5 in the "Surround Speaker Size" thread. Someone actually took umberage with that? Really???

Hi, Mark. A grey chicklet represents zero change, so it comes from someone with no rep points or negative rep points. It could either mean that someone tried to give you positive or negative feedback. Sometimes a new person has thanked me using the rep button, and the result is a grey chicklet.
