alright so i've complained about the fake surround sound from normally surround material where instead of just playing the damn program in surround sound natively, its mixed into multi-channel stereo, having three "center channels" and the L/R in the surrounds and other fancy idiocy. Now, i'm seeing some stations attempt to create a false LFE channel by crossing over the low end and boosting it louder then normal, i'm currently watching NCIS on USAHD and the friggin voices have so much bass it's giving me a headache. This is seriously irritating, they have ruined my favorite TV shows audio. just felt like rambling

Did you watch how the LA Lakers beat your Boston Celtics last night on surround sound? The sound on speakers was so amazing.:p

The local ABC station constantly screws up audio. They always send a 5.1 signal even when the program is 2.0 . This means that voices often come from the fron left/right. It annoys me because I almost never sit dead center when watching TV and it makes voices sound off center.
