I haven't subscribed to Stereopile in close to ten years when their subscription/collection agency refused to recognize my payments, even when I provided a copy of the check. It took personal intervention from the two Johns (Marks and Atkinson) to straighten it out.

Every year since then they have been sending me a "special deal" and, every year since then, they have been quickly read, scoffed at and thrown inthe trash.

Well, this year aI went for it. Seven dollars and a free set of earbuds, with an option of two years for fourteen.

That's cheaper than toulet paper! :D

I just hope they don't fuxz up my payment again.

Hate to say it, but I've had a lot of issues with Guns & Ammo. I enjoy the mag, but dread renewals because they are terrible at processing them.

I've had a Road & Track subscription for like the last 15 years straight. Recently they offered the digital version super cheap to try it out for a year. The renewal for digital was FAR more expensive than the hardcopy. WTF? You want to charge me MORE for web articles? So I did not renew, and now I literally get an email every other day from them about deals to sign back up.
