I watched this tonight and I'll have to say I REALLY enjoyed it.

4 stars

George "Commie" the Clownie and company really delivered.....

I had really low expectations for this movie, but I really had fun watching it. They took the 'caper' franchise in a totally new direction and it was entertaining from beginning to end. The caper took a huge new twist....and I have to say........it was a lot of fun.

Two thumbs up.... In some ways, this might be the best of the three of the modern franchise. I thought watching it was a real HOOT!!

I enjoyed it a lot as well. Al Pacino was a good addition to the franchise IMO.:)

Ditto. That movie really amazed me. Like the poster, I had low expectations and I ended loving it, especially the Oprah part.

Then I watched Syriana. What a mess. Anybody understands this movie?! lol

Well that's what happens when Clooney takes himself seriously, if he would cut the political crap he could be entertaining, I usually try to stay away from his "serious" movies, the guy is too self absorbed.

LOL...yes, the oprah scene was cute.

.........and Nope..... I don't watch blatant political crap. I watch movies for non-political entertainment.

Was it just me, or is the color way off in this movie? I looked at both the DVD and HD DVD version of this movie and the people look orange, and the color seems off. Is it just me, or did anyone else notice this?

The first had that "how did they DO that" effect, lacking in the others (think Matrix). 12 was very close to being a simple cash-out, but 13 totally redeemed the series.

can anyone else please comment on the color? I can't believe I would have gotten both a SD and HD DVD with the colors being so far off.

The Movie Gods are punishing you for not getting it on BD.

I have the BD version and it looks just fine. As a matter of fact, the opening sequence with all the acid trip colors hurt my eyes because they were so vibrant

I'll be your huckleberry... yes, I too noticed the color was a bit too much when I watched it the other night. I had ordered it via MOD from my cable provider so I merely thought it was on account of that and didn't give it much thought, but if you say it's the same on the disc version, then something has to be amiss.

well after actually watching the whole movie, it's not as bad as I thought, but just some scenes look over saturated.

As for not getting it on blu ray, I just got what blockbuster sent me, I have both a blu ray and hd dvd player, so I figure I might as well get as much use from the hd dvd player as I can before nobody makes discs for it any more!
