Not necessarily, but it might. Last time that I used free shipping (which was about two years ago), I got my order in something like two days.

From another discussion tonight, you can get a free trial to their Amazon Prime membership at the link here. It costs $79/year if you decide to keep it after the free trial. I have it and love it. 2-day shipping is free, and next day shipping is about $4.

I thought about upgrading to Amazon Prime but the free shipping almost always arrives in 2-3 business days. Amazon's free shipping is faster than most expedited shipping from other on-line vendors.

I just placed an order on amazon on Sat. and it qualified for the free super saver shipping, and later that day I had an email stating that my order had shipped. So yes, their free shipping can be very fast, but it won't always ship out right away.

Reminds me of scary dream that my older brother relayed to me on a dark ride home through the country when I was young. I'm shivering just thinking about it.

got the email late last night. one problem. its going USPS. the problem = my mailman is a real J/O. i wouldn't put it past him to have the box grow legs. i have no idea how worthy the tracking # is.
