I've never really stopped to think about the parallel inputs on my cerwin vega ab36c sub...what is the second input for?

ok wow...this was such a dumb question...ive been up studying for finals a long time...forget it...

semi-legitimate question.

im daisey chaining two 800w/1500w 8ohm subs- i would be pushing them with a qsc rmx2450 amp (1500w bridged 8 ohms, 2400w bridged 4 ohms) by linking them that would lower the impedance to 4 ohms and the amp would push 2400w @ 4 ohms...am i correct to assume this would be the case / is it safe to run a sub at half its nominal impedance?

thanks for bearing with me :)

The subs are still 8 ohms, it's just when they're wired in parallel that the amp recognizes a 4 ohm load. No problem.
