Hi there just wanted to hear from anyone who has bought or is thinking about buying Nuance Speakers. I bought some and love them. I see that there are a lot of haters on here just looking for some who like them.

Either you're trolling or you got ripped off. These speakers are well known to be a scam, aka; White Van Speakers.

you will not find any love in here for Nuance--sorry isn't going to happen. They are considered the Bose of the great White north--all marketing and no performance. With that, i know some people who are thrilled with their Bose systems and couldn't be happier. If you feel like you got a good value and you are happy with it--I am happy for you. That is what it is all about--"enjoying the sound." If they sound fine to you, enjoy them and never think twice about it. However, if you are already thinking twice about it--there are better systems for much less money. But again, speaker selection is very subjective and to each his own. You may hate the sound of my system, but that doesn't make my system any less good--same for yours. Best of luck with it and enjoy.

Nuance

Just picked up 4 Baby Spatial 3D. 1 Powered 10"bass. 2 8"mids. 1tweet. 1 centre channel.
Very nice sounding on my two Marantz 140 amps. Being that the bass is powered, not a lot of power reqired to drive mids and tweets. My son was very impressed as he is using Klipsch 7.1 RF-8 surround system. Like the man says if you like em, enjoy em. And all for the low used price of $600.00.

New ones are garbage but...

My best friend has a pair of Nuance Advantage Premier 330s which he bought in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1990 for $750. They actually sound very good and veteran speaker designer Winslow Burhoe of EPI, AR and Boston Acoustics fame apparently had a hand in the design of these early Nuance speakers. I don't think the term white van should be used in the same sentence with Winslow Burhoe, but understand that I am referring to the early Nuances, not the newer stuff which probably fits the white van description very nicely. My friend's 330s are extremely heavy with very solid cabinets. They image like crazy and have very solid low bass which I have heard rattle the windows in his old house. His neighbor has some much newer Nuance towers of about the same size that sound like crappola.
