Are you referring to
this break in DVD? If so, and if you have an SD memory card, then I recommend using the DVD images that you can download (the file is 8KB) and using the SD card slide show mode on the TV. That way, you don't have to worry about running a DVD player. Worked like a charm for me. I use the protection features on my TV, so the TV would shut off after three hours - but you can disable that.
