Novice needing help!!!

Hello all,

I am new to av seperates and my current system consists of a denon 2803 and the tannoy sfx speaker package.

I am hoping to buy some floorstanders to replace the front left and right. Does anyone have any knowledge on the Tannoy M3s? They can be picked up pretty cheap at the moment but they are over 10 years old!!

Would I notice an increase in sound quality and overall experiance over the tannoy satalites I am using at the moment?

My av set up is mainly used for films but I do listen to music occasionaly.

Towers will generally sound better than satellites, but you won't know until you've listened and examined the speakers. Make sure you inspect the cones.
