So here is the deal. I have a pair of Norman Laboratories (went out back in the 80’s) towers that I have recently upgraded. Super nice walnut towers… Well I replaced the tweeters with a pair of Morel MDT-33's and the midrange speakers with infinity kappa series 5-inchers. I need to replace the "subs" but I'm having a hard time figuring out where to get some high quality HOME THEATER subs (10") at 8-ohms. The towers have three 10" subs per tower. They are wired into the same crossover and are not used as subwoofers. I’ve got two external powered subs already. So there is my problem... quality, not super hard hitting base at a price that wont kill me. Please keep in mind I need SIX of these so I don’t want to drop 2 grand on SEAS Excel line woofers or anything quite that high. I’m looking for no more than a grand for all six so was leaning towards their L26RFX/P but have no experience with them. What about Axon??? I found a great deal on some 10K-01’s. Any help????
