Noobie from Cali....

My name is Ben, and i'm a noobie here from California.

Below is the current set up i got:

Denon AVR5803A
Denon DVD3800
Sony BDPS300
Mission MS775 Front speaker
Mission MS775C Center Channel speaker
Mission MS77DS Surround speaker
Velodyne 12 inch sub
Xbox 360 as game console and media server

I'm also using a sharp LCD tv "LC46D43U" which is couple years old now, for some reason, when my xbox "connected to tv via hdmi" is on and if i switch source on the tv, my xbox will shut off. I can't find a setting anywhere to disable that.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey Wago,
Not sure about this specific issue, but I'd try to change on your TV in Input setup/HDMI Setup - Auto View (on/off) and see if it helps.

Second option is to get xbox adapter for component video out and use your denon avr to do audio/video switching. Since component is limited by 1080i and your TV is only capable of 720p this shouldn't make any effect on your quality.
