I am just starting my journey as an audiophile. I have been looking around for some speakers for CHEAP. Almost bid on some Theatre Research on ebay, then i did some research of my own. Are Cadence speakers good or bad? Worth buying? thanx allot it would really help me out.

If you're trying to find cheap, I strongly suggest that you pick up some BIC speakers. What's your budget like? And do you want floorstanding speakers or bookshelves?

anything

My budget isn't much at all. my dad wont let me spend allot as we already have an Axiom m60Ti set up downstairs but i never can use it. I kinda would like to get some towers, but if there are a good set of bookshelf speakers for the right price, they will work too. I looked at tehm they look pricey still which is sad i know. im not looking for new though. here are the cadence speakers. decent?http://www.cadencestore.com/ProductCart/pc/homeaudio_detail.asp?idcategory=13&idproduct=195

Yeh i could use those, i don't rally know what u mean though. Tha axioms are in a Home theater and are with the TV so if someone is watching tv..... why are they so cheap on that amazon sight? even the towers are only like $119

So, let me get this straight: you're building your own little system and you need some speakers?

I'll tell you this right now, BIC isn't the best speaker ever, but it's much better than anything around the price (in my opinion). Keep in mind the price on the DV62-CLR is for ONE speaker. There are also the DV-62 bookshelves which are priced for a PAIR: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006JPDI/ref=pd_rhf_p_2/002-3382162-4571225?v=glance&s=electronics&n=507846&no=*

I have 2 pair of the DV62si bookshelves and the DV62CLR as a center speaker. They sound great and can fill a pretty good sized room with nice sound. If you don't have a big room, then I think the DV62 speakers would be a better bet. They sound good and are cheap. Not to mention they have good bass, especially for a bookshelf of its size.
