Recently purchased new Yamaha receiver. Have an original Nintendo Wii connected by RCA to the AV4 input. Getting sound, but no image. Tried switching video cable to AV5 and no luck there either. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I have looked at your manual and the connection is straightforward. It should work on AV 4 or 5. Make sure you have the yellow composite video cable plugged into the yellow analog video socket and not the orange digital audio input RCA socket.

If it correct then try a different analog video cable. Make sure your device is working by connecting it to the TV.

If the device is working and connected to the correct analog video socket with a known working cable, it should work.

However, the manual does not definitely say it converts analog video to HDMI, some cheaper receivers like yours don't. You can check for this by connecting the composite video out of your receiver to a composite video in on your TV. If you get a picture in that case, then your receiver does not convert analog video to HDMI.
