No Sound via Coaxial Output

I'm trying to output sound from my computer to my receiver via digital coaxial.

I plugged in the cable and I don't get any sound. I'm looking under playback devices, and it shows digital output (jack information: HDMI) and SPDIF output (optical). I can't find anything to change the setting to coaxial output.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

My computer specs are: Asus P6T Deluxe v1 (onboard sound), Sapphire Radeon HD4870 1G. I am trying to connect the coaxial output on the motherboard with the Denon AVR shown in my sig (no HDMI).

What kind of connection to the PC are you using? you need to match that (RCA, opitical, etc). Also with Vista/XP you there is an audio output in the setup menu that you can "auto" set.

Have you installed the HD Audio drivers for your motherboard? These should be separate from the regular audio drivers for the 3.5mm headphone jack.
