No sound from sub

Recently moved and due to a dropped box that housed my receiver i had to buy anew one. Purchesed was a Pioneer VSX-523-K receiver.... using my older Pioneer surround speakers and went out and purchased a Polk PSW10 powered sub.

Problem i'm having is that all speakers work EXCEPT for the sub. Just can't get it to run..... Any ideas why?

You really don't give us too much to work with here.

Check your connections and the instructions for both the receiver and the sub.
