NO response from HK about AVR 7300

I recently purchased a Harman Kardon AVR 7300 that has been wonderful in every way (except for the fan noise which is barely audible during quiet sequences, yet still annoying). I am contemplating buying some PSB Image speakers (anyone running HK on PSB?) and am aware that they run at 4 ohms. The 7300 owner’s manual never mentions handling a 4ohm load only an 8. I have contacted HK and asked them if the 7300 was capable of 4 ohm but have had no response. I am assuming at this point the 7300 is unable to handle 4 ohm speakers safely. If anyone has any experience with this I would much appreciate any feedback. Thanks

As a matter of fact, I was just talking to the local HK expert at the Circuit City yesterday about this very topic. He assurred me that my AVR 630 would run my 6 Ohm fronts and 8 Ohm surrounds without any problems. He went on to say it would also run 4 Ohm speakers as well. This goes without saying for the AVR 7300, as it provides about twice as much amp power as my 630. You should be fine.

I would think that if a $150 Panasonic receiver can be rated to handle 4 ohm speakers, a flagship like the 7300 should have no problems at all.
