No Picture

Hey,

i cant get a picture from my VCR, i can get sound tho, it is hooked up to an amp, set top box, dvd player, satellite box, through a projector.
i would assume this is an issue with a cable, maybe antennna? RF out/in? but have no idea where to start,

all other componets work fine, just the VCR is the issue.

any help greatly appreciated.

Hard to say from what you describe, but...

... odds are it's not hooked up correctly. Trace out that yellow RCA composite video out jack from the VCR.

If you are using the red, white and yellow composite cables, to connect it, set the vcr on "L1" or "Video 1", instead of channel three or four. Do it with an input button on front, or on remote, of vcr. Or it will be just before Ch. 1.

Just for watching a tape, it's possibly a bad cable, or the input hasn't been assigned, in the receiver's setup menus. Shouldn't matter if it's through a tv or projector...............
