I have a Panasonic Viera TC-P50S30 50” TV that is fed by a Pioneer VSX-1021-k AV receiver. Components into the receiver are a DirecTv DVR, BlueRay DVD, and VHS all connected with HDMI cables. The TV and components which are in another room are attached with a 50’ HDMI in-wall cable. At initial install, everything worked fine. After 2 weeks, I lost the picture signal and couldn’t get it back. I have replaced the cable (run externally through the room for testing) and the Pioneer receiver with no good results. If I connect the TV directly to each component, the picture feed is perfect. If I keep the connection running through the receiver and use a smaller TV (26”) it also works fine. I have used a HDMI extender (repeater) from RadioShack with no good results. Do you have any ideas? Stronger HDMI extender? Thank you.
