I can not get HDTV signals ( or any ) over the air with my new Samsung.
I have the proper antenna Winegard HD9085 installed and have it pointed in exactly the right degrees of direction. I run the cable into the back of the TV to "Input 2 in air". I have source as antenna and when I enter a channel like 4, it starts with DTV air 4, then goes to air 4 and then goes to no picture, just snow.
I have a printed listing of all channels available in digital and HD. The stations are not that far. Is their some magic to this.

I also tried to read signal strength under channels on the remote and cant access this command.
Cable works fine through media com.

Built in tuner? Conencted correctly?

It sounds to me that your TV might not have a built in HD Terestial Tuner. It has been my experience that whenever the HD signal drops, my TV goes to Black, there should be no snow involved. Though, the fact that your remote has a signal stength botton leads me to beleive that you have a built in tuner. Is it possible there is a menu option to choose HDTV as your signal input?
