No lfe on an sacd??

I popped in Peter Gabriel sacd stereo "Shaking The Tree" and there was no lfe at all??? Are all stereo sacd like this? I thought there was something wrong with my sub so I popped in a multi channel sacd(Elton John Madman Across the Water...a great sacd disc) and it played fine.

There is no dedicated lfe track, cos it's in stereo (2.0, not 2.1). Your player has an internal crossover for low frequencies, and should send those low frequencies to the sub. Some players have very limited bass management, mine included. I had to go into my receiver's settings for multi channel input and increase the gain to the sub by 10 dB, and that's when the light on the sub would blink on and I'd get some deeper bass. Give that a try; hope that works.

Yea i was having the same problem on my denon then went in and set the speakers to small and kabam the problems were fixed it was like magic
