no hdmi with Onk 805 and Sam help

I have tried everything to get the HDMI to work with this TV. Updates cables through the rec, and straight to the tv...nothing works....

I changed my tv to my Sony 40 and everything works great...This is a small tv and I want to use my big Samsung 50 for my main tv.....

Right now I went back to my Pioneer SACD player all hooked through componet through the rec and everything looks good. I want to hook up the PS3 and watch BD and play my games....Would this cable work through the receiver?
It's HDMI to componet...Why does it have seperate audio?

How is your reciever connected to the TV?

Do you have the input you plugged the cables into set to component in?

Is there any reason why you don't run HDMI from your ps3 to your reciever?

all my cables are componet. I thought if you ran HDMI in to the Rec that you had to run HDMI out?

Since the Sammie is 720p native, have you tried setting the PS3 or Onkyo to output the 720p signal over HDMI.

If you're running component from recv. to TV, all sources need to be input using analog video connections. But you can do analog in and HDMI out to TV.

I don't see how that cable would work.
