Pretty general question.
So, all I can offer are pretty general answers.
1) Is the audio out from TV hooked up to a line level input on the receiver?
2) Do you need to configure the TV to send output to these outputs? I had to for mine.
3) Did you select the correct input on the receiver?
4) Do you need to configure the receiver to know these analog inputs are being used?
These should provide a pretty good jumping off point for your quest for sound.
To obtain these answers, I would refer you to the various manuals included with these devices.
