Oh, its real check out the rest of the winning home theaters on that side www.cedia.net there are some amazing home theaters on thoses lists.

It's amazing what you can do with a 20x40 foot room with 20 foot tall ceilings and a quarter million dollar budget... or more.

The first one is decent... But, (hoping it isn't yours) it is very typical for many home theater enthusiasts. The mains are way to high, the sub is placed neatly into the corner for no smoothness. The projector, while nice, is possibly less of a performer than the Panny AE-700 which can be picked up for under $2K.

A really good mid-entry level theater with good sound and a 100" screen can pretty easily be put together for about $5,000.00 That includes wire, source equipment, projector, screen, mounting, speakers, and A/V receiver.

True entry level can be had for under $2,000 with a 100" screen.
