NHT SuperTwo

Hey all,
Long time lurker, first time poster.

A buddy of mine is upgrading his system and getting rid of his NHT SuperTwos for $250. I listened to them and they are in pristine condition.
Good price? I can't find any on Ebay or elsewhere to compare to.

Also, being that the Super series has been out of production for a while, are other there centers and surrounds that match up well with the SuperTwos?

Any info is helpful. Searched postings with little success.

Your best bet is a used center that matches, however they don't turn up that often. You might also be able to go with a Super One for a center, if you found a pair - then in a 6.1 setup, you could have 2 pairs of Ones for centers and surrounds.

That's what I suspected., but I wasn't sure if the newer generation of NHT would work as well.

I'm building up a 7.1 system using a Yamaha RX-V1500. So it looks like I'll be scraping together a setup from wherever I can.

New models all use the aluminum tweeters, so I don't think they will be a good timbre match for the Super Twos.
