Thanks for the post. Seems like a nice price for those these days. I kind of wished that I would have snagged some Classic Threes back when they were something like $300/each (a year or so ago, I think). Prices now are pretty high. I've never heard any of their newer speakers, though, and I'm curious how they compare to my 1.5s.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, I added two pairs (the max for the promo) to my cart, applied the promo code...and the discount of 40% off shown in the cart was only from one speaker ($131) and not all four ($524). Might need to contact NHT to get the real deal unless it auto corrects later in checkout.

Hi, thanks for alerting us to the glitch. We fixed it. We would have caught the pricing problem before we charged the card and shipped it. Our phone lines are open if you ever have any issues.

Check our web site for sales. Model 1.5's were a two-way 6.5" a angled (focus image geometry) cabinet. Black Formica finish. Our Classic Two bookshelf speakers are the same driver config. (but with a aluminum dome tweeter), loaded into a acoustically contoured cabinet with a high gloss piano black finish. Classic Three is a 3-way design and by far the best bookshelf speaker we have designed so far. Same NHT refined sound as we have always offered, sounds as good or better than other manufacturers speakers that are 2 to 4 times the price.
