Hey, GR, you wouldn't want everything to match, would you? The cylinder gives your system character. So, no need to swap it out for gloss black. Cha-ching. Just saved $800.

I like my cylinder, but I have a gloss black tv stand and audio rack, and the endcaps on my def tech speakers are gloss black, so I think it would look really good, but if I did upgrade subs it wouldb't be a lateral upgrade, I would go for a gloss black Plus/2 or Ultra, I wouldn't even mind having an older ultra/2, but that would be serious overkill for my room. I just always have the bug to upgrade stuff constantly, I'm sure you all know the feeling.
