Hi! I'm in Canada, too :)

Those are all nice products. Ya done good :D

What subwoofer(s) are you using?

How are your room acoustics? Any acoustic treatments?

And how far are you sitting from the TV? I'll bet a larger screen would suit you just fine ;)

What are you using for power protection?

What's your remote?

Sources? Are you suffering from the lack of streaming services and CableCard up here in Canada like I am?

Any plans for an HTPC?

And how about cables and wires?

I love talking speakers, receivers and TVs as much as anyone. But there are so many additional components! And I love all those other pieces of a home theater just as much :D So it's always fun to really get the full picture of what folks are using.

Welcome!

:)

I recently moved from a house to an apartment so I downsized my theater alot, previously I had a projector with an 100" screen along with two energy s10.3 subwoofers. In the apartment I couldn't fit the projector so I'm down ot the 50" plasma and the RC-70's give off enough bass without disturbing the neighbors so no subwoofers.

I don't have any room treatments at the moment because I don't have a dedicated theater room and I'm pretty happy with the sound considering the size of the room I'm in.

For power protection I am using a Belkin PF60.

I have a custom HTPC, this is my second build and I'm very happy with it, the performance and integration is excellent with my receiver. The video card I am using is an AMD Radeon 7770, I chose it based on performance/power consumption/noise levels.

No fancy remotes, I use the standard Denon/Samsung remotes and I have a Logitech K400 wireless keyboard for operating the HTPC from the couch.

I'm not a stickler for cables. My speakers are hooked up to generic 10 gauge copper speaker wire, mono price HDMI/toslink to connect sources, and monster interconnects i got on clearance for $2/pop to connect the receiver to the XPA-3.
