Putting together an entry level system, (small budget) and need some recommendations, I have a small condo and this will be for my living room
currently have:
Pioneer 815 ,
Yamaha NS-C444
2 Athena .5

1st question : Was thinking of using the .5 for rears and adding either Athena ASB2 or Bic DV62si bookshelves for fronts, any feed back on which ones would be best? Differences?

2nd: My condo is on the top floor, because of neighbors, I don't know if a sub is gonna fly, so I may have to go without. Any ideas on a sub or a way to incorporate a sub without rattling the people around me?

Thx
RC

Well, to repeat the mantra (which is true, not just blowing smoke), it's always best to Timbre match. Which do you like the sound of better, the Yamaha Center or the Athena .5 series speakers? That should tell you which direction to go. If you still feel like you want something different, maybe it would be good to check out the BICs.

pluggin the Bics again, have you no shame :) Just kidding by the way everyone, Bics are awesome speakers. If you are going to mix and match at least make sure the front three are similair to get the best performance fo movies.
