I am giving up my pioneer dtr 840 after many years of good sevice and setting up a home theater system. I have chosen the Denon Avr 2310 CI reciever , I am considering the Polk cs-10 center channel, a klipsch sw-10 sub and the Polk Audio VM30 Tower speakers. My rear channel are rear wall Boston acoustics I already have. My new TV is going to be the sony KDL55V5100, any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

From what I gather, his budget is a little over 5k.

Do you already have the Klipsch SW-10? I don't think they make that anymore... there is a "Sub-10".

I think if you like the VM 30, you should get one of the center channels in that same product line. I say this because the CS10 uses completely different drivers "bi-laminate organic fiber" vs "mineral filled polymer composite" and silk vs aluminum, I dont have any facts to back this up, but those tweeters might not be compatible with eachother, like, at all... and who knows whats going on with the other materials.

I would definitely consider other options for the sub. How large is the room?

Snibbs, are you there?
