Newbie seeking buying guidance

Hi folks!
New to the forum.
Im planing on buying an amplifire for my new apartment.
I already have an CD player from TECHNICS model SL- PG 5.
I found an amplifer form the local add that seems nice.
The model Technics SU - V620.

If you would be kind enough to give your opinion on the amp.
Im not seekin anything ULTRA HIGH END quality, BUT, would like to have something good. Also I dont need anything loud since I live in an apartment thats sourounded with neighbours....maybe this model is also to loud...I dont know....

70 watts is good power for amp. When you refer to loud sound, all amps has volume control, you don't need to crank it all the way up. For said amp I have no experience so can't say anything about it performance wise. How much they ask for the amp?

Are you planning to get stereo setup or perhaps upgrade later for surround? What is your budget for amp, maybe we can suggest you something?

I still dont have any speakers.
Not planing on anything fancy since Im a newbie and dont understand this matter well.
Was thinking on only 2 speaker.
I have an offet for CASTLE AVON speakers.
Anyone heard of them?
Maybe a bit pricy 400€...

The speaker are Castle Acoustic LTD, model AVON...400€ second hand.
Maybe a bit too pricy for me...Im a newbie...can you recomend anything in the 200-300€ range for second hand.

Avon is the speaker serie, there are 4 different speaker under that serie:

With out knowing what model we are talking about its hard to say if it is good deal. But those speakers look quite promising, if you can audition them and if you like the sound I would go for them. Just use some songs you are familiar with and you get the idea how they sound.

One good option is to go on local stores and listen to all speakers in your budget and what ever sounds best to you is your best bet.

Elac has some nice budget speakers for example:

It is hard to recommend second hand speakers as we don't know what is available for you and at what price.

For the amp, I have no experience with that company so can't say a thing about it. Your amp/cd player doesn't need to be from same company however.
