Hi, great site!!!! I have a question about Aperion speakers, are they any good? C-Net has gave them a 9 out of 10 rating. That's a awesome rating. I was just wondering, does anyone have these speakers and if anyone has heard them. Also, what is a good reciever to match these speakers. I am intending to get 4 towers, 2 dipole/bipole surrounds, center and a 12" sub. Thanks for any feedback

I love my aperions; I run them with a Denon 2805. I have piano black bookshelfs with the 10" sub and the VAC center.

The service at Aperion is great; they spend a lot of time answering questions (talk to Ben Fowler).

I had some people over this weekend and they were simply amazed at the sound being output by these speakers. Read some audioreview.com reviews of Aperions, and search the web for reviews. Universally positive.

FYI, be sure to talk to Ben about using four towers and the 12" sub. That is quite a bit of bass, as each power tower have an 8" sub built into it. With that much bass in the room, it might be best not to use the 12" sub--the guys at Aperion will have tried it and can be honest with you about it.

I was looking at aperians originally but at that time they only had bookshelves so i ended up with axioms which i like. though i did have a chance to listen to the aperions at the hes 2004 powertowers center bookshelfs sub. sounded really nice in a little room and i was not even in the sweet spot.YMMV
