hey fellas so here is the situation bought me an Infinity TSS-800 sound system it wasnt what i wanted, i just wanted a computer speakers u know. Anyways i cant return it because newegg doesnt take this product back and if i sell it on ebay she loses like $300 she spent on it. Its only going for like 160-200 on ebay, brand new. Mine is still brand new, but those prices can be low or high idk. Anyways i will use it if i can find an receiver so i can actually hook up the speakers, but here is the situation. I have an HD LCD tv, but i wont spend more than $100 on a receiver, and i want it to be as small as possible bc of space. I am willing to buy any old *** models or anything like that as long as you can get it to be those specifications, small and under 100

if anyone can help it will be great!

You are out of luck. Since the receiver has to have 5 amps it won't be small. You won't get much for $100. You will be limited to something totally obsolete on eBay. Why did you buy that if all you wanted was computer speakers? Please do much better research before further purchases.

reading between the lines, it's possible "she" is his significant other (who bought the stuff for him)

Receiver options

Some of the panasonic digital receivers are pretty small compared to the more traditional models with class a/b amplifiers. Look for a deal on one of those or a refurbished model in your price range.

You might also check out the local pawn shops and thrift stores in your budget.

First off, that's a nice receiver and would normally be my recommendation, but it's only two channels.

OP has a five channel system, and I'm not 100% sure that that isn't a passive subwoofer...

And, aren't you the one that gleefully pointed out to me that it's out of stock on line when I initially posted this sale information yesterday morning?

Anyhow, back to the matters at hand. The least expensive unit I can find (from a known reputable dealer) that meets his needs (aside from physical size) would be this : http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/ONKHTR410S/ONKYO/HT-R410-5.1-Receiver-from-HTS660-in-Silver-NEW/1.html

but, if OP's sub is passive, all bets are off.

He might want to explore the other offerings at this site as well.
