Newbie / New AVR / Need Firmware Help

I have a brand new Denon 4520 that I have had for a week. I have everything hooked up and running great and today I get a pop up message that says "New Firmware Released!"

During my search for a new AVR I read a few stories about owners having problem s with installing new firmware into this model. After the installation there would be problems where they would need to take the AVR in. In some cases the AVR would need to be replaced.

I am not comfortable with installing this firmware especially since the AVR is running fine. Also, I am guessing that there would be no problems had I not connected it to the Ethernet cable when I first bought the AVR.

What would be the best course of action?

Don't fix it if it's aint broken :)
Last week I killed two dell server power supplies because of bad firmware, which was supposed to fix, but never done
oh, well - the servers weren't in production yet

To learn more about the 4520 read the first few posts in the AVS Owners Thread. Post 4 talks about firmware.

So it seems that I am at a crossroads here. It says that I should be concerned about the warranty if I don't update. But there is nothing wrong with the AVR and I don't want any problems where others have found them. Maybe I'll call Denon and ask to se what they say.
