Hi everyone and thanks ahead of time for any help I will be getting. I just purchased a new ONKYO AV receiver HT-R591 with 7 speakers. I have just started the connections. I have a Sat receiver and 2 dvd players I want to connect to my receiver. I have started with the easiest one which is the Sat receiver. I am using a HDMI cable from my Sat receiver to my AV receiver (in) and HDMI cable (out) to my TV. So far so good. My problem is that my remote won't accept the commands (off, on, changing channels, etc.) from both my TV and Sat receiver. I was reading the manual ( which is not very user friendly) and it says to put in codes for the components I am plugging into the ONKYO AV. Unfortunately they didn't include any codes. I have looked everywhere on the net and can't find any codes for this system. Can anyone help me please or guide me in the right direction.
