If SVS sub is easy to get there, you will really enjoy it, a great sub.
Your speaker cables are a bit over priced ;)

Lol everything is overpriced in england mate, example: 20 cigarettes cost £5 (bout $8.50  ), a little birdie informs me that they cost $4 dollars in america :)

Depends where you get them. Different states have different taxes. Here in Michigan, a pack of Marlboros is over $5.00. However, if you go down South, cigs are about $3.00 a pack. Oh, and since this is about audio...

He was just referring to your cables in general. If you look around this site, you'll see that they aren't too fond of high-priced cables.

On a side note, I've got a good friend over in Burton on Trent. I'm still meaning to get over to that part of the country. Gotta sample the Bass fresh from the tap!

$2.75 near Richmond, VA. Home of RJ Reynolds, Phillip Morris (Marlboro), and a few others.

I would not say it like that, I make my own, and with all the stuff put on them for WAF, $300 for a ten foot pair is reasonable, the thousand dollar junk, hahahaha

I wouldn't know burton from trent, but isn't Manchester near the Lake District, Clwyd (pronounced cloud - I think), and Cumbria? Some of the most picturesque places outside of the Alps.

I guess I should've said that a bit more clearly. Audioholics doesn't endorse really expensive cables that make outlandish claims about their performance. Cables from River Cable and Cobalt Cable aren't exactly cheap, but because of the quality of materials used as well as their very sleek appearance, the price can be justified.
