Hey guys, i'm looking to setup a new home theater system because my current htib was bought in around 06 and it doesn't support HDMI. I'm looking to have a setup of a receiver and speakers connected to a 55 inch Panasonic plasma and a In focus projector that I bought in around 07. So I figured out that I need two HDMI output ports on my next receiver. Problems is that all the receivers that support two HDMI outputs are fairly expensive. I was maybe looking to buy another htib system, but a quality one. Maybe $500? Does anyone know how I can connect my receiver to a TV and a projector?

Welcome to the forum, I would stay away from the HTIB's you can get a decent system for around $500...

Amazon.com: Jamo S 426 HCS 3 WENGE 5-Piece Home Theater System (Wenge): Electronics
Amazon.com: BIC America F12 12-Inch 475-Watt Front Firing Powered Subwoofer: Electronics
DENON AVR-1513 5.1ch Home Theater Receiver 3D ready | Accessories4less

these 3 items will surpass any HTIB I have ever seen.... Cost is around $550 but you can cut the cost down a little by substituting this subwoofer for the bic, but the bic is worth the extra cost... Dayton Audio SUB-1200 12" 120 Watt Powered Subwoofer 300-629

The bic sub is a lot for your money, the Denon AVR is a good buy, very solid units, and the Jamo 5.0 is a great value, Energy rebadges them and sells them for much more money, same exact tower here for much more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1J70FP0970
