Hi guys,\n\nI'm considering attempting a subwoofer build to get me started into DIY speakers, I've done a little research and made an initial attempt at using winisd to model some results, but I would like to get some confirmation that I haven't missed something obvious before I start spending money.\n\nSo the driver I'm looking at is SB Acoustics SB34SWPL76-4\n\nAnd the amplifier is monacor Sam 300d.\n\nSo I input the speaker parameters into winisd, and after some playing with the volume and tuning frequency it looks like I can get flat response down to 19hz..\n\nSo to the questions.. Aside from putting all the perameters into winisd, is there anything else I need to consider?\n\nI read somewhere that the tuning frequency shouldn't be lower that the fs of the driver, is that also correct? Does there need to be some other allowance there?\n\nregarding ports.. Can I just take the port recommendation out of winisd and use them as is? Or should I be considering something else there?\n\nOK last one for now I promise! I know that the volume of the box has to account for all the bracing, driver, and amplifier. But I'm wondering if there's anything else to consider regarding the internal bracing. How close it is to the driver or ports for example, can it interfere with the response of the sub?\n\nSorry for all the noob questions, thanks in advance for any help!
