I’m guessing the answer is no, but I thought I’d ask anyway.

I’m looking for more in the midrange department. My system has plenty of bass already.

I have a pair of Pioneer FS52’s. The cabinets have 3 - 5inch drivers. One for midrange, two for low end. Seeing that all 3 drivers are the same, could I reroute all 3 for midrange?

Would this damage the crossover?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to artificially increase the volume in some frequency range, use EQ to lower all the others.

Would wiring all 3 drivers for midrange damage the crossover? All 3 speakers are identical. only wired into the crossover for a 3 way setup

You'd create more problems than you'd solve. Never wire speakers together. No point unless you like triple mono and load issues for your amp.

I have the same speakers and don't see an issue in the mid dept personally. You probably just need to play around with some EQ as @JerryLove said. You'll get much better results than wiring stuff that won't work properly.
