Lets say my Xsub gets down to 25Hz. How would adding another one improve sound? I guess I am asking for someone to teach me the mechanics or science of how adding an identical sub improves sound.

Generally, there is better imaging with 2. That is, if they are placed properly. They will also yeild more volume.

Sometimes 2 subs can help you smooth out the response in your room. And of course, it's 2x the power and driver area pushing sound, so you can get more volume. Consequently, each sub exerts itself less to achieve the same volume that just one sub would produce.
